Tampa Halloween Events 2026: Haunted Houses, Parties & Spooky Things to Do
From Haunted Houses to Family Fun, Here’s What’s Happening Around Tampa Bay This Halloween
Tampa Bay is trading sunshine for scare zones, costumes, pumpkins and things jumping out at you in the dark. 😂👻
And if your October plans currently consist of “I think we should do something for Halloween,” consider this your sign to actually make plans.
The Tampa Halloween events 2026 lineup has a little bit of everything. You can scream your way through haunted houses, wander through spooky nighttime attractions, plan a Halloween date night, take the kids trick-or-treating or put on a costume and head out for the night.
And some of Tampa's biggest Halloween traditions are already returning.
👀 What Are the Best Halloween Events in Tampa in 2026?
Some of the Halloween events and spooky things to do around Tampa Bay this year include:
- 😱 Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
- 🦇 Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa
- 🍬 Riverwalk Trick or Treat
- 👻 UNDead in the Water
- 🎃 Pumpkin patches and fall festivals around Tampa Bay
- 🍸 Halloween parties and costume events
- 🕯️ Ghost tours and creepy local experiences
- 🖤 Halloween date-night ideas for people who want spooky without spending the entire night running from someone with a chainsaw 😂
Whether you want full-on scary, something cute and festive or just an excuse to put together a ridiculously good costume, there are plenty of things to do in Tampa for Halloween 2026.
And because events are happening everywhere from Downtown Tampa and the Tampa Riverwalk to Ybor City and other parts of Tampa Bay, you could easily fill more than one October weekend.
If you're still getting to know the area, you can also explore Tampa Bay neighborhoods with Frank Albert Realty while you're building your fall bucket list. You might discover a new part of Tampa while you're out chasing pumpkins and jump scares. 🎃🌴
But first, we need to talk about the attractions for the people who actually want to be scared.
Because Tampa Bay has a few places waiting to test just how brave you really are. 👀
😱 Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
If your idea of Halloween fun is voluntarily walking into a dark hallway while knowing something is absolutely about to jump out at you, this one's for you. 😂
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is back for 2026, transforming the park into one of Tampa's biggest nighttime Halloween experiences.
📅 Howl-O-Scream 2026 Dates & Hours
Dates: Select nights from September 11 through October 31, 2026
Event Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Early Entry: Howl-O-Scream ticket holders can enter Busch Gardens beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Location: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
Admission: Separate Howl-O-Scream ticket required
That means you have several weeks to fit this one into your spooky-season plans but remember that Howl-O-Scream does not run every night during that period. Check the event calendar when choosing your date because operating dates and hours can change.
👻 What's New at Howl-O-Scream in 2026?
The 2026 lineup includes haunted houses, scare zones, live entertainment and nighttime access to some of Busch Gardens' thrill rides.
One of the new haunted houses this year is Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape, along with two new scare zones and the return of the fan-favorite show Fiends.
Basically, even when you think you're just walking peacefully to the next attraction...
You're not safe. 😂
The scare zones mean the terror isn't limited to the haunted houses. Characters and creepy surprises can be waiting throughout different areas of the park, which makes simply getting from Point A to Point B part of the experience.
And if haunted houses aren't enough adrenaline for one night, you can mix the scares with roller coasters after dark.
🎟️ Before You Go
Howl-O-Scream is intended for a mature audience, with Busch Gardens warning that the event includes intense content such as blood, gore and violence. Guests also cannot wear costumes to the event.
Single-night tickets are currently advertised starting at $48.99, although pricing can vary depending on the date and ticket option you choose.
And remember, regular daytime Busch Gardens admission does not include Howl-O-Scream. This is a separately ticketed nighttime event.
So, if you're searching for Tampa haunted attractions in 2026 and want something that can take up an entire night, this is one of the major events to put on your October calendar.
And maybe don't volunteer to walk in front of your group.
Let somebody else find the scare actor first. 😂👀
But what if you want Halloween vibes without spending the night questioning every dark corner?
Tampa Bay has that too. Next up, we're getting into a Halloween event that's spooky, fun and much easier to bring the whole family to.
🦇 Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa
Maybe you want Halloween fun, but nobody in your group wants to be chased through a haunted house. 😂
Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is a much less terrifying way to celebrate spooky season.
This family-friendly Halloween event brings eerie characters, Halloween entertainment, themed treats, spooky wildlife experiences and immersive areas throughout ZooTampa.

ZooTampa is adding some new spooky experiences for 2026, including Scared of the Dark, a new Halloween realm designed for braver visitors, and Ghostly Groves, a family-friendly walk through a haunted neighborhood.
There are also returning experiences like Dancing Dead, where zombies turn Halloween into a dance party, and Enchanted Circle, featuring performances from the living fountain.
Throughout the night, families can also find Halloween light shows, spooky characters, animal encounters, themed food and drinks and other entertainment around the zoo.
In other words, this is more:
“Ooooh, spooky! 👻”
and less:
“WHY IS SOMETHING CHASING ME?!” 😂
🎟️ How Much Does It Cost?
Creatures of the Night is included with a ZooTampa Membership or Zoo Fun Ticket, and reservations aren't required.
For visitors purchasing admission specifically for the event after 4 p.m., ZooTampa lists:

One thing to know if you have a Zoo Fun Ticket: October 10, October 17 and October 24 are blockout dates, although blockout upgrade tickets are available.
🎭 Can Kids Wear Costumes?
Yes! Children 12 and younger can wear Halloween attire.
However, guests 13 and older cannot wear Halloween masks, wigs, face paint or costumes, and toy weapons aren't permitted.
So if you're looking for family Halloween events in Tampa in 2026, this is one to add to the calendar, especially if you want the kids to experience Halloween without signing everybody up for a night of full-blown terror. 😂🎃
And after all that spooky fun, we're heading closer to the heart of Tampa.
Because there's another Halloween tradition where the costumes come out, the candy starts flowing and the Tampa Riverwalk gets in on the Halloween action. 🍬👀
🍬 Riverwalk Trick-or-Treat in Downtown Tampa
If your Halloween plans involve more candy than screaming, Downtown Tampa has you covered. 😂🍭
The 10th Annual Riverwalk Trick-or-Treat is returning to the Tampa Riverwalk in 2026 for a free evening filled with costumes, candy and Halloween activities for the whole family.
And unlike some of the bigger Halloween attractions around Tampa, you don't need to buy a ticket to join the fun.
📅 Riverwalk Trick-or-Treat 2026 Date & Time
Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
Time: 4:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park / Tampa Riverwalk
Cost: FREE
Pre-registration: Not required
This one happens the Saturday before Halloween, making it an easy way to get an extra round of trick-or-treating in before October 31.
🎃 What Can You Do at Riverwalk Trick-or-Treat?
Come in costume and be prepared to actually use that candy bucket.
The 2026 celebration is expected to feature 50+ treat stations along with Halloween activities and entertainment around the Riverwalk.
But the candy isn't the only reason to go.
There are a few events happening throughout the evening that you'll want to time your visit around:
🕺 Thriller Flash Mob — 4:30 p.m.
Keep an eye out for a group breaking into the iconic Thriller dance.
🏆 Costume Contest — 5:00 p.m.
Kids and adults can show off their best spooky, funny and creative costumes.
🎬 Movie in the Park — 7:15 p.m.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair because the night ends with an outdoor showing of Ghostbusters.
So you could trick-or-treat, watch the costume contest, grab something to eat nearby and then settle in for a Halloween movie under the Tampa sky.
That's a pretty solid Saturday night. 🎃🌴
👻 Who Is This Halloween Event Best For?
This is one of the family Halloween events in Tampa that works especially well for families with younger kids who aren't ready for haunted houses and intense scare zones.
But you definitely don't need kids to enjoy it.
If you're looking for a laid-back Halloween date night in Tampa, walking the Riverwalk in costume, grabbing dinner and catching Ghostbusters in the park could make for a fun October night too.
And because you're already in Downtown Tampa, you can easily make an entire evening out of it.
Just remember one important thing:
Bring a bigger candy bag than you think you need. 😂🍬
But if strolling around collecting candy sounds a little too peaceful for you, don't worry.
Because sitting along Tampa's waterfront is another Halloween attraction where you're not just walking through a haunted house...
You're stepping aboard a haunted ship. 👀🚢
🚢 UNDead in the Water: Tampa's Haunted Ship
A haunted house is one thing.
A haunted attraction inside an actual WWII ship after dark?
Yeah... Tampa took this one a little further. 😂👻
UNDead in the Water returns to the American Victory Ship in Downtown Tampa for another season of dark passageways, creepy characters and plenty of opportunities to question why you willingly bought a ticket. 😂
Instead of walking through a traditional haunted house, you'll make your way through multiple decks of a historic 1945 WWII cargo ship.
And for 2026, the story gets even creepier.
📅 UNDead in the Water 2026 Dates

Start Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: American Victory Ship, 705 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602
Tickets: Starting around $26.55
Because ticket times and event hours can vary by listing, check the official calendar when purchasing your tickets.
👀 What's the Story This Year?
For 2026, you're entering The Iron Widow, a ship that has supposedly been sealed off for months after reports of riots, strange experiments and screams coming from inside.
Now the doors are open.
Great idea to go investigate, right? 😂
You'll descend through abandoned cell blocks and narrow passageways while discovering what happened aboard the ship and encountering whatever is still lurking inside.
The setting is what makes this one especially creepy.
You're not walking through a temporary building decorated to look like a ship.
You're actually on one. 🚢👀
The American Victory Ship dates back to 1945 and served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. That means you're climbing real stairs, moving through tight hallways, crossing high thresholds and exploring multiple levels of a historic vessel.
⚠️ Know Before You Board
This isn't really the Halloween attraction for little ones.
UNDead in the Water recommends that children under 11 not attend because of the darkness and intensity of the experience.
There are also a few important rules:
👟 Wear closed-toe shoes. You'll be climbing stairs and ladders and walking across ship decks that could be wet.
🎭 Leave the costume at home. Costumes, decorative Halloween masks and full-face coverings aren't allowed.
📱 Put the phone away. Photography, video and cell phone use aren't permitted inside the attraction.
🌧️ It's rain or shine. The attraction generally continues unless extreme weather creates unsafe conditions.
And expect strobe lights, loud noises, simulated gunfire, water effects and other special effects throughout the experience.
🖤 Is UNDead in the Water Worth Adding to Your Halloween List?
If you're searching for spooky things to do in Tampa that feel different from the typical haunted house, this one definitely checks the different box.
You get the haunted-attraction experience, but the historic ship gives the entire thing an atmosphere that would be pretty hard to recreate inside a regular building.
Plus, you're right in the Channelside area of Downtown Tampa, so you can grab dinner nearby before heading aboard.
Just maybe eat before you start getting chased around a dark ship.
Because trying to enjoy dinner afterward while everybody is still recovering from jump scares sounds slightly less relaxing. 😂👻
And don't worry, the rest of Tampa's Halloween calendar isn't all zombies, haunted ships and people hiding around corners.
Next, we're trading the screams for pumpkins, fall festivals and the kind of Halloween plans where your biggest problem is trying to get the perfect fall picture while it's still 80 degrees outside. 🎃🌴
🎃 Pumpkin Patches & Fall Festivals Around Tampa Bay
Not every October activity needs someone hiding behind a wall waiting to scare you. 😂
Sometimes you just want pumpkins, cute pictures, fall treats and enough autumn decorations to temporarily forget that it's still warm outside.
Luckily, there are several pumpkin patches and fall festivals around Tampa Bay in 2026 that give you exactly that.
🍂 Hyde Park Village Pumpkin Patch
Want the fall pictures without driving all the way out to a farm?
Hyde Park Village's Pumpkin Patch brings fall straight to South Tampa's Village Circle.
📅 Dates: October 10–25, 2026
⏰ Monday–Thursday: 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
⏰ Friday–Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Hyde Park Village
🎟️ Admission: Free to visit; pumpkins are available for purchase
You'll find pumpkins in different sizes, fall photo opportunities and plenty of places nearby to grab coffee, brunch or dinner afterward.
Even better, pumpkin purchases support the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
And if your dog has a Halloween outfit that absolutely needs an audience, mark October 24 on your calendar for the Hyde Park Pet Parade and live music.
Basically, this is the pumpkin patch for people who want fall vibes but would also like a latte within walking distance. 😂🎃
🍁 Armature Works Fall Fest & Pumpkin Patch
Armature Works is getting into fall too, with its 9th Annual Fall Fest taking over the West Lawn and Market Street.
📅 Saturday, October 10: 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
📅 Sunday, October 11: 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Armature Works, Tampa Heights
🎟️ Admission: Free
Expect local vendors, live music, fall cocktails, a petting zoo, face painting, animal rides and a bounce zone.
And the pumpkin fun doesn't disappear once Fall Fest weekend ends.
Armature Works' pumpkin patch is open Thursday through Sunday throughout October, with free entry and photo opportunities. Pumpkins are available to purchase if you find one worthy of coming home with you.
So yes, you can get the pumpkin-patch pictures, grab something to eat inside Armature Works and walk along the river afterward.
Fall date night = handled. 🎃🥂
🌾 Raprager Farms Fall Festival
If you want something that feels more like an actual day at the farm, head to Raprager Family Farms in Odessa.
The 2026 Fall Festival runs on weekends beginning September 18, with festivities continuing into the start of November.
Expect pumpkins, farm animals, hayrides, mazes, games, slides, bounce pillows, seasonal treats, shopping and live entertainment on select dates.
Tickets start around $19, with some premium activities costing extra.
This is a good pick when you don't just want to grab a pumpkin and leave. You can make the farm itself the day's activity.
🌻 Want Even More Fall?
Tampa Bay has plenty of other options outside the city too.
Keel Farms Harvest Days in Plant City returns on weekends throughout October, while Dade City Farms' Fall Festival runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 through November 1, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. with pumpkins, hayrides, farm animals, fall treats and family activities.
And if you're willing to make the drive toward Bradenton, Hunsader Farms' Pumpkin Festival returns October 10–11, 17–18 and 24–25, giving you three weekends to fit it into your fall plans.
So whether you want a quick pumpkin picture in South Tampa or an entire afternoon of hayrides, farm animals, pumpkins and fall food, there's a Tampa Bay fall outing for it.
Just remember...
Florida fall means you might be holding a pumpkin in one hand and a portable fan in the other. 😂🎃🌴
But pumpkins aren't the only reason to get dressed up this October.
Because once the sun goes down, Tampa's Halloween calendar starts looking a lot more 21+. 👀🍸
Next up: Halloween parties, costume events and nights out around Tampa Bay.
🍸 Halloween Parties & Costume Events in Tampa
Okay, the kids have their candy.
Now what are the adults doing? 😂🎃
If your ideal Halloween involves putting way too much effort into a costume and actually having somewhere to wear it, Tampa's 2026 calendar has several nights worth saving.
And naturally, Ybor City is right in the middle of the action.
🎭 POSSESSED! Curse of the Kress
Want something a little more unusual than the typical nightclub Halloween party?
POSSESSED! Curse of the Kress takes over Kress Contemporary in Ybor City for a building-wide night of art, music, performances and Halloween weirdness.
📅 Date: Friday, October 9, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
📍 Location: Kress Contemporary, 1624 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City
🎟️ Tickets: $5 in advance / $10 at the door
The 2026 event includes a Dead Man's Dance Party, tarot readings, a Vampire Library, Halloween photo booth and after-dark access to galleries throughout the building.
Costumes are encouraged, and you'll be able to wander from floor to floor discovering different experiences.
Basically, this one's for the person who wants Halloween to feel creepy, artsy and slightly unhinged. 😂🖤
🎸 Tampa Halloween Indie Night
Halloween doesn't have to mean spending the entire night at a club either.
The Ritz Ybor is hosting Tampa Halloween Indie Night on Friday, October 23.
📅 Date: Friday, October 23, 2026
🚪 Doors: 5:30 p.m.
🎶 Show: 6:30 p.m.
📍 Location: The RITZ Ybor, 1503 E. 7th Ave.
The lineup includes ROHNA, Parrotfish, Kitty Kitty Meow Meow and Palova, making this an option for anyone who'd rather spend spooky season at a live show.
And if you're looking for something much later that same night, The RITZ is also hosting HOL! HOLOWEEN, with doors opening at 10 p.m. for an 18+ EDM event.
💀 The Halloween Party 2026 at The Cuban Club
Now let's talk about Halloween night itself.
On Saturday, October 31, The Halloween Party 2026 takes over the historic Cuban Club in Ybor City with this year's theme:
The Hollywood Undead. 🎬💀
📅 Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m.
📍 Location: Cuban Club, 2010 N. Avenida República de Cuba
🎟️ Cost: $67
🎭 Costumes: Highly encouraged
Expect DJs, indoor and outdoor party spaces, Halloween entertainment and costumed characters inside one of Ybor City's historic buildings.
Even better, the event is organized by 13 Ugly Men as a fundraiser, so the Halloween party also supports local charitable organizations.
🥂 Cocktails & Costumes: Ybor City Takeover
Still haven't found a big enough reason to finish that costume?
How about $2,500 in costume-contest prizes? 👀💰
Cocktails & Costumes takes over the Italian Club of Tampa on Halloween night with three DJs, dancing, cocktails and a costume competition.
📅 Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 p.m. – Midnight
📍 Location: Italian Club of Tampa, 1731 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City
The costume contest includes categories for TV/movie look-alikes, comic/anime costumes, couples, groups and most creative, with cash prizes advertised for the winners.
So if you've been planning your costume since July...
This might be your Super Bowl. 😂🏆
👻 Planning Halloween Night in Ybor?
Here's one thing to remember: Halloween falls on a Saturday in 2026.
That means Ybor City already has multiple Halloween-night events scheduled, and it's reasonable to expect a busy nightlife district.
If you're heading out, buy tickets for ticketed events ahead of time, check age restrictions, plan where you're parking or getting dropped off and don't wait until 9 p.m. on Halloween night to figure out where everybody is going. 😂
The costume deserves better planning than that.
And maybe you're reading all of this thinking:
“Okay... I want spooky, but I don't necessarily want a nightclub OR someone chasing me with a chainsaw.”
Perfect.
Because Tampa has another side to Halloween too.
Next we're getting into ghost tours, haunted history and creepy Tampa experiences for anyone who'd rather hear the scary stories than become part of one. 🕯️👻
🕯️ Ghost Tours & Haunted History Around Tampa
Maybe you don't need someone jumping out from behind a wall to scare you.
Sometimes hearing what supposedly happened in the building you're already standing inside is creepy enough. 👀😂
Tampa has more than its share of old buildings, strange stories and local legends, which makes October a great time to explore the city's haunted side.
👻 Ghosts of Tampa Theatre Tour
First stop: one of Downtown Tampa's most recognizable historic buildings.
The Ghosts of Tampa Theatre Tour takes you inside the nearly century-old movie palace to hear stories about some of the mysterious figures said to still make appearances around the building.
And yes, there's apparently a story involving seat 308.
We'll just leave that there. 😂
📅 2026 Ghost Tour Dates & Times
Monday, October 19 — 3:00 p.m.
Friday, October 23 — 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, October 24 — 11:00 a.m.
Monday, October 26 — 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 29 — 3:00 p.m.
Friday, October 30 — 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, October 31 — 11:00 a.m. 🎃
📍 Location: Tampa Theatre, 711 N. Franklin St., Downtown Tampa
⏰ Length: Approximately 2 hours
🎟️ Tickets: $15 general admission / free for Tampa Theatre members
🔞 Rating: PG-13
The walking tour explores stories surrounding the Theatre's ghostly guests, former employees and unexplained happenings while taking you deeper into the historic building.
Just know that the tour includes stairs and extended periods of standing, and Tampa Theatre warns that its ghost tours tend to sell out.
So this isn't one I'd wait until Halloween morning to book. 👻
🌙 The Official Ybor City Ghost Tour
If you'd rather take the creepy stories outside, head to Ybor City.
The Official Ybor City Ghost Tour explores the darker side of Tampa's historic Latin district, mixing stories about cigar workers, gangsters, mysterious deaths, historic buildings and paranormal legends.
📍 Meeting Point: King Corona Cigars, 1523 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City
🎟️ Adult Tickets: Around $30
🎟️ Children Ages 6–12: $10
Unlike a haunted attraction filled with actors and staged scares, this experience focuses more on the real history and ghost stories connected to Ybor City's past.
And considering how much history is packed into those brick streets and old buildings...
Walking around Ybor after dark while somebody tells you who supposedly never left hits a little differently. 😂👀
👀 Want Even More Haunted Tampa History?
You can also take the Official Downtown Tampa Ghost Tour, which begins near Tampa Theatre and explores some of the darker stories connected to Downtown Tampa.
The tour covers tales involving old Tampa, mobsters, movie stars, historic buildings and the city's past, with stops around some of Downtown's recognizable landmarks.
So if you love history but want it served with a side of:
“Wait... WHAT happened here?!”
A ghost tour might be one of the more unexpected spooky things to do in Tampa this Halloween season.
It's also a great option for a Halloween date night in Tampa if neither of you wants to spend $100 getting chased through haunted houses. 😂🕯️
Grab dinner, take a nighttime ghost tour and finish the evening somewhere nearby for drinks or dessert.
Spooky. Easy. And nobody has to run from a chainsaw.
But maybe scary isn't what you're looking for at all.
Maybe you just want to know:
“What can we actually do on Halloween weekend?” 👀🎃
Perfect.
Because next we're putting it all together with Halloween weekend in Tampa Bay, including ideas for families, couples and adults who still haven't decided what they're doing.
🎃 What to Do Halloween Weekend in Tampa Bay
Okay, you've made it this far and now you're probably thinking:
“So... what should we ACTUALLY do Halloween weekend?” 😂
Good news: Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31 in 2026, which means you don't have to squeeze all your spooky plans into one random weeknight.
You have an entire weekend to work with. 👀🎃
🍬 Halloween Weekend With the Kids
If you're planning Halloween with little ones, you have options that don't involve terrifying them for the rest of October. 😂
Creatures of the Night at ZooTampa is happening on both Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Expect spooky characters, animal experiences, Halloween entertainment, themed areas and treats without the intensity of a traditional haunted house.
Another option is Busch Gardens Spooktacular, the park's daytime family Halloween celebration. The 2026 event runs on Saturdays and Sundays from September 12 through November 1 and includes trick-or-treating, a costume parade, story time and colorful Halloween characters.
So if the kids want costumes and candy but you still want an activity that can fill a good chunk of the day, you've got choices.
🖤 Halloween Date Night
Couples, you don't have to spend Halloween night at a giant party either.
Start with dinner somewhere around Downtown Tampa or Ybor City, dress up if you want to and then choose how spooky you actually want the night to get.
You could go all-in with UNDead in the Water, which has Halloween-night hours scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Or make it more relaxed with a historic walking tour, cocktails or another Halloween experience around town.
And if your relationship survives one of you using the other as a human shield during a jump scare...
Congratulations. That's love. 😂🖤
😱 Halloween Night for the Brave
Want the full Halloween experience?
This is your night.
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens runs through October 31, with the event beginning at 7:00 p.m. Ticket holders can enter the park beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Between haunted houses, scare zones, nighttime rides and live entertainment, you can easily make this the main event of your Halloween night.
Or climb aboard the American Victory Ship for UNDead in the Water and spend part of Halloween exploring dark passageways aboard an actual historic ship.
Just don't schedule both unless your nervous system is prepared for that kind of commitment. 😂
🍸 Halloween Night for Adults
If the costume took three weeks to put together, obviously you need somewhere worthy of wearing it.
Ybor City has several options on Saturday, October 31.
The Halloween Party 2026 at the Cuban Club runs from 8:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., transforming the historic building into its Hollywood Undead theme with DJs, entertainment and indoor and outdoor party spaces.
And if you're looking for a later night, Eli Brown Halloween Night at The RITZ Ybor starts at 10:00 p.m. and continues into the early morning. The event is 21+.
Basically, you can go from:
“Let's grab one drink.”
to
“Why is it almost 3 a.m.?”
very quickly. 😂🍸
👀 So, What's Your Halloween Personality?
At this point, Tampa Bay has made the decision pretty simple.
Want to scream? → Howl-O-Scream or UNDead in the Water.
Bringing the kids? → Creatures of the Night or Busch Gardens Spooktacular.
Want a Halloween date night? → Dinner + a ghost tour or haunted attraction.
Want to wear the costume you spent way too much money on? → Halloween night in Ybor.
Just want pumpkins and fall pictures? → Hit one of the Tampa Bay pumpkin patches earlier in October.
The hardest part isn't finding things to do in Tampa for Halloween 2026.
It's figuring out how many of them you can fit into one month. 😂🎃
And that's part of what makes living around Tampa Bay fun. There's almost always another neighborhood, event or local experience to discover.
Whether you're new to the area, thinking about making a move or already calling Tampa Bay home, Frank Albert Realty can help you explore the communities behind all these local experiences.
Because finding your favorite part of Tampa Bay is one thing.
Finding the neighborhood you want to come home to is another. 🏡🌴
And before we wrap up our Halloween plans, there's one last thing worth knowing:
Which Tampa Halloween events should you book early, and which ones can you decide on at the last minute? 👀
🎟️ What Tampa Halloween Events Should You Book Early?
If there's one thing you don't want to do this October, it's finally decide on your Halloween plans and discover...
Everybody else already had the same idea. 😂🎃
For the bigger Tampa Halloween events in 2026, planning ahead is your best bet.
Events like Howl-O-Scream, UNDead in the Water and the Ghosts of Tampa Theatre Tour have limited dates or timed admission, so those are the ones worth booking once you know when you want to go.
Halloween parties and special events on Saturday, October 31 are also worth planning early, especially if you're going with a group.
For pumpkin patches, fall festivals and some of the more casual daytime activities, you'll usually have a little more flexibility.
Either way, always double-check the event's official website before heading out. Dates, hours, ticket prices and event details can change.
🎃 Tampa Bay Is Ready for Halloween 2026
From screaming through Howl-O-Scream and exploring a haunted WWII ship to picking pumpkins, walking the Riverwalk in costume and spending Halloween night in Ybor City, October around Tampa Bay is definitely not boring.
You can make it scary.
You can make it family-friendly.
You can turn it into date night.
Or you can simply put on a costume, find somewhere serving a Halloween cocktail and call it a successful spooky season. 😂🍸
And that's one of the best parts about exploring Tampa Bay: there's always another side of the area to discover.
If all that exploring has you wondering what it would be like to actually live closer to your favorite Tampa spots, Frank Albert Realty can help you explore homes and neighborhoods throughout Tampa Bay and find an area that fits the way you actually want to live. ➡️ Contact us today!
Until then, grab the costume, make the reservation and buy the haunted-house ticket.
Because October goes fast, and Tampa Bay is already getting spooky. 👀🎃👻
